The onboard digital controller monitors incoming water temperature continuously. It activates cooling when the temperature climbs above your set point and shuts it off once the goal is achieved—helping save energy without compromising consistency.

To operate, connect the unit to your water loop using the 1″ NPT fittings, plug into a compatible outlet, and set the desired temperature on the digital controller. The system automatically cycles to maintain your chosen temperature.

FAQ

Is this meant for outdoor use?
No. The standard and HE water chiller models are designed exclusively for indoor use and don’t include integrated pumps like the cold therapy variants.

What water flow is recommended?
Penguin recommends pairing it with a Danner Mag-drive pump rated between 500 – 1800 GPH with less than 10 psi backpressure.

How do I prevent damage to the heat exchanger?
Clean or replace filters weekly to maintain proper water flow. Restricted flow can cause freezing inside the exchanger, leading to damage not covered by warranty.
